I bought Easy Home Cyclonic stick vacuum in January. When I go to charge it the red light just blinks and blinks and no matter how long I charge it I never get a green light. Anybody have this problem.
Made it 10 months, now it dies in 20 seconds. Just threw the box/receipt out a week ago. I love Aldi, but I'll never buy anything electronic from them again.
Hi Scott. I've had trouble with a number of electronics from Aldi and they have always been great about warranty items, even without receipt, as they know when they issued the item. If you have the manual, it helps as all the item info is on the back. If you bought the 12/2016 model, it only had a two year warranty, so you would now be past that, If you bought the 12/2017 model it had a 3 year warranty, so you have almost two more years available on it. The Customer Service number is 1-888-367-7373, they will answer as "WK", not Aldi or East Home. They will ask you for the item number (49066), the issue date (12/2017)and model number (DV-888DCBL). With Aldi products, if you don't send it warranty cards, at least keep the manuals (I staple my receipts right into the manuals.)
No, no, don't throw it away. Look at the Dyson page, their stick vac that is very similar does this occasionally, too. There is a filter, on the Dyson it is washable, once you clean the filter it will start charging again. Really.
I agree! Read the cleaning instructions--clean it "often"--it says,after every use, but I clean mine every other. It's easy 2 clean & soooo worth it!! I LOVE THIS VAC!! SO EASY 2 CLEAN WITH--of course, it's NOT meant 2 be used as ur main vac. It's meant 4 in between using ur main vac & when u need 2 get up high, or 4 steps, crevices etc I actually vacuum my gel infused/memory foam mattress & my comforters in between washes--especially cuz I have cats..this vacSkype up pet hair like crazzzyyy. Can't say enough good things about this vac. IF u take care of this vac AS DIRECTED IN MANUAL-IT'LL LAST. MY MOM'said had hers 3 years-she cleans the inside, filters etc.& it'll work great. It's like anything else..IF U TAKE CARE OF IT PROPERLY & AS DIRECTED. IT'LL LAST U LONGER!!

ReplyDeleteThe red light is suppose to blink until it's completely charged & then the red light stays on when it'showed done charging...there is no green light.
DeleteI don't think it suppose to turn green. It goes from blinking to a continuous red light.
